How We Support Mentors & Internship Sites

We understand that hosting an intern is a commitment, and we are here to support you at every stage. Our team provides comprehensive guidance to ensure a smooth and rewarding experience for both mentors and students. Support includes:

  • Dedicated Internship Coordinator: Each mentor and site is assigned a dedicated RiseUp Internship Coordinator to provide ongoing support, troubleshoot challenges, and help ensure a positive experience for both mentors and interns.

  • Internship Planning & Setup: RiseUp staff collaborate with you to design an internship that aligns with your needs and provides meaningful learning for students.

  • Mentor Training & Resources: We offer guidance on best practices for supervision, feedback, and student engagement.

  • Ongoing Check-ins & Monitoring: We facilitate regular progress evaluations and provide assistance as needed. ImBlaze is the internship management tool we use for students to search and monitor their growth through the internship experience.

  • Clear Expectations & Communication: Our team ensures that both mentors and students are well-prepared, helping to create a structured and supportive internship experience.
